You Done Gone Papa'd It!

Greetings everyone!
Thought I'd pop by, say hi and introduce myself. [first two items - complete] So on to introducing myself it is then! The name is Papa Hedge, or Hedge to people who know me. I'm 32 years young and am an avid gamer. I spend most days playing Minecraft but occasionally delve into other games, most notably EVE, Life is Feudal and CS:GO. I've had Arma 3 for quite a long time but have never sat down and actually given it a real go. I was sat here earlier thinking I really must start that game up again but wasn't sure what to do so hit the Google-machine to see what was around and how I'd like to play. Low and behold I found this place and was instantly enthused to give it a try, so here I am!
I think it would be prudent of me to admit that I am a complete newbie with Arma but love a good bit of roleplaying, so if any of you kind folk have any 'starter' tips, I'd be very grateful!
I suppose the only thing left to say is that i'm looking forward to meeting you guys 'in-game' ....... if one of you could let me know how to get on of course, ta very muchly!
