Helping Medics out

ex CMO Joel Denning

The Swiss CMO

Location
Switzerland
I have been flying lately a lot as a Medic and sometimes after there was a firefight between gangs going on (and Police not responding to your calls due to more important situations they have to attend or don't know how the Situation is by themselves ) it can be hard to see from 150m alt if is clear by now or not, especially when there are people running around with guns out.

So my idea is: why not just throw a white smoke grenade to indicate that the area is clear and the medics can can start riving? It would make the live of medical pilots a bit easier and could shorten the response time.

Please let me know what you think about it.

Greetings

MD. Joel Denning

Would be nice, However i do enjoy being a reasonable distance away with my binoculars watching them suffer the utmost painful death, being executed by each other, the slaughtering and blood shed, Mwaha.. mw.. mwwahahahahAHAHAHAHAHAH, *cough*.

But afterwards i go in a apply band aids ;3

ON TOPIC. Do it, Do it now. I request that all officers carry a smoke grenade. :)

Yeah, Well anyway, you raise the brilliant point, I always try to contact them "NHS to Police, Is "x, y, z" Clear for Medical intervention?".

To my surprise noone ever answers :(, It's just silent.. so i wait 3 mins before going in ;o

Yea thats my point, police often doesn't respond ,I don't judge them for that they got lost of stuff to do as well. That's why I think it would be really good if rebels would signal on their own that's over now and clear for medical work.

Another possible reason that noone signals is because they're ALLL Dead xD, But the issue needs to be adressed

If we can get a word in edgewise :p, But we should, Let's see what others say when they see this thread

Hmm sounds like an efficient way to deal with such situations! The only thing that worries me is the fact that rebels also have access to white smoke grenades, which could cause some confusion if used while combat is still ungoing. If the police could perhaps get access to a specific colour(for an example, green) that is specifically used for these kind of situations, then I personally would love to see this procedure being implemented!

Use different coloured ones instead.  Like give cops a greensmoke for it

yea white might not be the best color but something like green for clear and red for not clear could  be working really good

if you could maybe get some admins to look at it to see what they think about it? maybe CMO Marc and the head of the Police as well?

Contacting the admins is relatively simple! All you have to do is make a similar topic in the Suggestion page and explain your idea. Perhaps you can  get the help of a few high-ranking police officers/NHS members? You should be able to find them on Teamspeak, just pop them a message and ask for some of their time to propose your idea! If the police agrees that your idea is a fine one, they can even discuss it in their own board meeting. You could also simply ask them to post their opinion on your Suggestion-topic, which will also contribute to the realisation of your idea :D
