Help with a headset

I'm looking for a mid range headset, desktop mic are not an option for me as my rig is in the living room and I have 3 kids so the back round noise is terrible.

I do like the krakens, but I had the chroma 7.1's , had to buy a different headset after 4 weeks because the mic went dodgy

Friend of mine, uses the Kraken pro, and I can hear my self speak, as well as everything going on in his headset when he speaks, music, game sound etc.

On the other hand, I've heard that the Astro 40 and 50's offer some of the best sound and microphone quality, but thats just what I've heard.

Astro's are supposed to be very very good - they were tied for quality with what i got the H2100 Corsair gaming set. It's £80 on amazon at the moment and is extremely comfortable, good sound, wireless, and does virtual 7.1 if that's your bag

I have the senhieser ( cant spell haha) 363d gaming headset , very good headset, great noise cancelling, if you have the money it is well worth the grab, a little pricy though.

@adster mcI don't know if you played Call of duty, but i used to play it professionally and literally EVERYONE bought the AstroA40's Mixamp, for hearing every little thing.If your looking for the best Game quality and reliability Astro's are the headset you want ( There is a definite reason there alot of money ). Other than that Kraken are Alright. A40's beat nearly any other headset though.

I bought the a40's , but ended up returning them because I didn't like the preset mix amp , it ment that mixer between game and voice would only work on console
