Thats what you would call being the most horrible person ever.

Just call the police and tell them it was stolen and more than likely they won't scrap it

Don't do that. That's horrible, hopefully the police would just impound it instead of scrapping those, they cost people so much money and time.

It's allowed, but a very trollish / dickish thing to do.

To combat it, I always report it as stolen and the police usually help me track it down.

That way if the police find it, there is a 99% chance they won't scrap it.

I've seen this many times in Altis. It's a pretty big dickish thing to do.

When someone asks you to scrap a vehicle they "found" in a drug field, you always check the registration before scrapping it.

If the owner isn't present and I think it is stolen it would be searched and impounded.

However, some Police forget to do this and scrap it (not intentionally) if this happens, and you have proof you will be comped the price of the vehicle that was lost.
