Helis, what to do....?

Hey guys, I am thinking of buying a heli in the server for getting around a bit quicker but I would like a few other suggestions apart from getting around faster as to what I could use the heli for?  Cant afford more than 1million if that helps any suggestions :)   Cheers and see u in game!

 
Fill it with drugs, do 2 successful runs, get it scrapped on the third due to your complacency...

Alternatively do sand... in all my time in the police force I never so a message come from someone asking for help at sand processing...

 
Hello there Groovy,

My name is Proxeum and i'm a newly appointed community mentor, you can use helicopters for various things, you can use to to make money by doing iron runs and copper runs for example, you can use it to transport friends, you can use it for whatever you like, you could open your own helicopter transport company for example, the list goes on.

EDIT: Don't listen to Simon, drugs are bad, i'm only joking, you can do whatever you like, but be prepared, alot of heavily armed people like to rob drug runners.

Thanks for the ideas guys :)   One more thing, how do u store the heli when u are finished, do u have to go back tot he airstrip and is that a greenzone?  Cheers! :)

I have had a lot of experience in having helicopters scrapped... I remember the day I lost 2 orcas and a mohawk due to my own complacency... all within the space of 3 minutes...

You can store it at the air garage, which is not a green zone. 

You can also store it at any other garage, which would be illegal and you would risk having your helicopter scrapped by the police. This includes the kavala garage green zone

Edit: You can also store them at your own person garage which you have purchased.

If you just return to the man at the airfield you can store it there, you can also use the con airport but that is the redzone and you can be shot on sight, unfortunatley it's not a greenzone, most of the people you meet there will be friendly, but you get the occasional rebel who likes to try his luck.

Oh damn haha, luckily you are rich, so it's like pennies to you! I've had a hellcat scrapped before and one time some guys filled my huron with heroin and tried to get it scrapped!

it was back when i was poor... wouldn't bother me now, i think there are 23 choppers in my collection

Back when i joined the server i remember you telling me about your personal fleet haha.

 
@Groovy i'd personally recommend the Orca, it costs about 1 million has good fuel consumption (you could easily complete a run without refuelling), Resists bullets quite well. The trunk space is about 350 which isn't great but you're doing runs quicker and theres less risk involved.

I would recommend doing legal activities for a while or even delivery missions until you can afford a house where you can pick and process drugs then let them build up in your house before using trucks to fetch them to kavala.

Trunk space is 190.

 
Depends whether you want the helicopter for fun, or to make money.

If you want a helicopter for fun then I suggest the hummingbird as they're reactive and fairly easy to fly, however they are not good for runs as they have minimal trunk capacity and can only carry 4 passengers, 2 of which are piloting.

The best helicopter for making money in your price range would be the Orca, doing runs of some sort will be fast and obviously if you're doing illegal runs the chance of being caught is a lot slimmer when in the air. However the orca is a bit harder to handle in my opinion then the smaller helicopters so you might want to practice with one in the editor mode first.

But can also take significantly more abuse from a would be robber, or police trying to shoot you down.
