Helicopter Crushed or something... (Refused)

I lent my hummingbird to my friends to fly in and they landed it near the gang hideout. They were caught in the hideout by police and the helicopter was crushed. I do not know why it was crushed my friends say the police just crushed it. Please can someone help or if you cannot comp me then explain why it was crushed. Thanks

EDIT: The helicopter was not inside the gang hideout but across the road

We were doing Iron, just selling it as we were at the Iron/Copper trader. The officer said to me and my friend 'I have crushed it because one of the people who owned it had a bounty. I had a bounty of 50k but how would he know?

Checking the registration and looking on the wanted list. But silly though, if it's for something like lock picking your own vehicle.

 
While we are on the subject, my friends hatchback sport got crushed the other day. He wasn't driving it or anything , all he did was park it outside Perry's Nightclub while he sang his heart out.

 
well my hatchet sports got scrapped for no reason 2 now where on the subject i left it in pygros i crashed it had no repair kit so i ran away and got a new car out. 2 hours later we robbed the bank i was in a ifrit of my friend and cops got to pygros (we didnt) and they started scrapping the vehicle's that where ours so im not realy supriced about what heapend to your heli man :(  

 
If you lend your car to a friend, and he uses it in a armed robbery, or to smuggle drugs across the border.. You wouldn't get it back. I'd ask compensation from your friends. Vehicles used in crimes will always be scraped on Altis.

 
Except if that crime is speeding then its only above a certain speed!
