5 years ago I came to this forum as a 15 year old wanting to build a PC. You guys gave me advice and I built a system that lasted 5 years (and is still working fine today!). You can see that thread here. That build is for sale btw if anyone's interested 
5 years later, today, I have a new build. One with a lot more RGB - The Compensator:
Specs:
Case: Fractal Meshify S2 Blackout Tempered Glass
CPU: Ryzen 9 3900XT
CPU Cooler: Corsair H115i RGB Platinimum Hydo Series (Liquid Cooler)
MOBO: Crosshair VIII Hero
GPU: Gigabyte 2070 super (temporary until the 3000 series releases, will also be on sale for cheap in a couple months xx)
RAM: 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4 3200mhz
M.2 SSD: 1TB Samsung 970 EVO PLUS m.2
HDD: 2TB Seagate 7200RPM
PSU: Corsair 850W RMx Modular 80 Plus
Case fans: 5x Corsair LL120 RGB LED Fans (Intake through front and bottom. Exhaust through top and rear)
Monitor: LG Ultragear 27 inch (144hz 1440p)
VR: Valve Index
The camera unfortunately doesn't do the lighting justice, but I'm very pleased with it!
