Hatred - game

Hello!

So I just had a quick go on Hatred before work. And I have to say that it's sheer beauty and brilliant game play are massively overshadowed by the sheer violence! I know it's one of the few games to ever be rated M for Mature, and wow does it deserve it. This has all the hallmarks of a game that the press will go blaming some shootings on at some point.

Obviously I haven't gotten incredibly far in the "story", so I'll update if I can pursue the craziness this week.

Anyone else have an opinion on this game?

from what i've seen its just an excuse for gore. the mechanics are simple enough and the only thing going for it is the 'shock factor'. the devs are thriving off the controversy. mind you i havent played it...
