Okay so I'm finally getting Grand Theft Auto V for PC. Yes I'm late who cares. But apparently there are hackers everywhere due to Rockstar having no good Anti cheat. I'm the type to go into online lobbies doing races and what not. Does anyone know how bad the hacker situation is at the moment?

Almost every online free roam session will have at least 1 hacker in it. They might just spawn vehicles in to play around and not harm anybody but it is more usual to see the harmful type. They will turn on godmode and ruin the fun for others and may even start spawning in hacked money on every player. This can cause you to get banned I believe. At its current sate, I don't really recommend playing in online unless you get some friends and host a private game or hiest.

 
im not going online at the moment anyway, having way too much fun with LSPDFR

Receiving money from a hacker won't get you banned but will get your money removed and if you got ranked in any illegal way you'll be deranked.

 
I stopped playing online because of the hackers :*( I've been turned into a cow had a massive rock chasing me down the road that in the end killed me and each time i came back so did the rock also had a hacker make me stay still and dropped millons of $ on my head which made the screen freeze as the server couldnt keep up with it. I've seen flying people and cars, people who dont die the list goes on if it was not for these people i would still be playing as i think the game is great online.

@Kakujaa the cow bit was funny until he started dropping money on my head in which i had to reset the game due to not being able to do anything for over 10mins
