The bypass

Good day everyone!

If you are one of the players that has to endure grave agony due to the fact that he can't play half of the times due to the 'memory could not be written' error, then be sad no more! After hours and hours of scavanging on the internet looking for a potential fix, I might have stumbled upon something that will help you bypass this server-sided error. The answer on how to do so is simple: create a new windows account.

It seems like creating a new windows account will reset the arma 3 files which gives the server a new free chance to establish a good connection. Once you are in the server with your new windows account, you can just sign out your windows account and go back to your standard one and you will be able to join the server again. I like to see this as a temporary fix as the error is not really fixed, but it will at least let you play on this magnificent server again!

NB: Make sure that the other windows account is signed out while trying to connect to the server, only then will the bypass work!

Creating a new windows account on windows 10

These following steps will guide you through creating a new windows account.

  • Step one: Hit the windows button
  • Step two: Press the gear for 'settings'
  • Step three: Select 'accounts'
  • Step four: Select 'family and other people'
  • Step five: Select '+ add someone else to this pc'
  • Step six: Select 'I don't have this person's sign-in information'
  • Step seven: Select 'Add a user without a microsoft account'
  • Step eight: Fill in the desired name of the account and you should be good to go!

I hope I have at least helped some of you out with this, if this is not working for you please let me know down in the comments and perhaps we might stumble upon new bypasses or fixes in the near future! We will get through these harsh times of uncooperative technology!

Yours faithfully,

Lars

I have a temporary fix.

If the error occurs:

join a different server (Koth/wasteland/anything) make sure yer fully ingame, disconect and join RPUK. Problem solved (temporary)

It seems like there are a few possible fixes. So far none of them except for the new windows account helped for me!

A fix I have found is that it is overwolf, I have disabled that and I have no problems since! Maybe worth a try as well!
