Graphic card upgrade?

Hey guys, So I'm currently indecisive on a graphics card that I want.

What i need the graphics card for:

- Streaming Arma 3 & CS:GO in Ultra with a minimum of 30 FPS. What i'm waiting for is black friday to come and buy the graphic card if it has a huge reduction. What im looking at currently is NVIDIA GEFORCE 980 Ti. Currently selling at £500+ hopefully it will reduce to a cheaper price on the week commencing on black friday.

Any better recommendations?

I upgraded from 3x GTX 480's to 2x GTX 970's. Boosted my frames by a whopping 5 fps... Should've invested in my cpu instead. Upgrading from i7 980x to i7 4790K next week, for a 40 fps increase.

What are the full specs you have right now?

I know this is a bit of an unpopular opinion but I bought a GTX Titan X and it is simply awesome. I know it costs a lot, but I believe it will last me a while

Edit: 980ti wasn't out by the time I built my computer, and I believe it is equally powerful

980Ti if you can afford it is the way to go imho. 98% of the performance of a titan X, half the price, half the memory (not a big deal unless you plan on multiple 4k screens)

the 970 is also a very capable card - but it's memory architecture cripples it when playing in 4k, or anything that pushes the VRAM used over 3.5GB.

The 980 is also a good in between obviously.

My full specs are this computer - However it has got a NVIDIA GTX 750ti rather than the graphics card found on that video.

I'd love to be able to stream when I play altis life.

Does the 750 not support shadowplay? SP can stream direct to twitch (at the expense of not being able to simultaneously record) If you're thinking of building for the future i'd say pick up a 980TI on black friday. You'll get bit of a saving, plus it's a stonking good card - provided you can afford it.

Yeah, 750Ti has shadow play, But unfortunately even playing on standard settings and using shadow play just to make sure I catch rdmers or rule breakers or funny rp moments it gives me frame lags.

Strange - i've never experienced any lag with shadowplay except maybe a frame skip when i initiate the actual recording. I wonder is it anything to do with your CPU and HDD? When you initiate Shadowplay as far as i know it uses the actual GPU to do the encoding etc from the framebuffer directly in order to avoid this lag, but ultimately the CPU must write it to the HDD.

I've only ever used Intel + nVidia so i can't comment on the performance of AMD with shadowplay.
