I mean... it's certainly powerful but how much? You could likely get a better price by building it yourself ;)

Everything seems fine, except for the graphic card. Well, its all fine and good, but I would strongly recommend jumping up to 980TI. I have one 980TI myself aswell as a 780TI installed, and the 980TI can run everything just fine, and the price difference is not too much (5.590,- - 6.999,- on Komplett.no). Thats the only thing I would say, else it looks good!

PS: If you want to save a few coins, you dont need 16BG ram. For gaming all you really need is 8, which is in most times even way too much.

you think the 980TI will drop in prize after the release of 1080 tomorrow?

Defenetly. With the release of 10x they will for sure put the 980TI on a major discount on the Weekendsale they have every month (komplett, that is). I remember when they released the 9x series the 7x dropped with around 1-2k depending on the model.

I've got the i7 and the same MB and both the things have not disappointed me, I'd recommend it.

Ignore this stupidity, this is not 1999 anymore. We live in a world of shit coders and we're playing a game programmed by the worst coders.

for a GOOD build you NEED 16GB of Ram, and you NEED to disable your page file, this stops all those shitty frame drops entering big cities or texture heavy areas..

Im sorry you say what ?!?!? He has a SSD oh well lets not worry then !!! all those read writes of hibernation and Page file, SSD's LOOOOVE being written to all day every day with useless information !!! They don't come with limited read writes out the box. Oh whats that 5Year Warranty BRILLIANT, sorry bout your files though.

Also change your M.2 NVME drive out to the consumer grade, no point saving £10 for issues using OEM tech and potential warranty claims down the line. Plus the consumer grade is faster, although they don't like to tell you that!! source (you are looking at the models sm & pm)
Lovely build though tbh, Would also recommend looking at the second hand market for 980Ti's as they are selling almost new, fast and cheap right now due to the 1080 release, see if the seller is happy to provide a receipt, or look for refurbished one's sold by a shop, as they are retailers you will get a brand spanking new warranty.

I'm guessing he didn't put a price as he cares more about the actual build than people lecturing him about how much cheaper it would be to build himself :/ I can understand why he didn't put that info, as long as he believes it to be value for money then it is, if he is tight on cash, then he can come speak to us again :D :D then we can lecture him from dawn till dusk HEHEHEHEHEHEH

Consumer Surplus i think that's called - how much you're willing to pay, versus how much the market price is.

BUT LECTURES ARE FREE!

Woah there, calm down son. No need to be calling me stupid for pointing out the truth. You do NOT need 16GB of ram, AT ALL. Most prebuilt computes comes with 8GB as a standard. Why? Because more is not really needed. The companies surely would like to earn more money, dont they? So why dont they slap in those extra 8GB and say that they need it? Because we know we dont need it. I've been working with PC's, setting up, building, doing services++ for quite a while now.. Gaming is recommended 8GB. If he wants more, then its fine. I myself have 32GB of ram, but that is because I run games meanwhile I'm running 2 or more VRS and DS's at the same time. Now, I'm not going to sit here and discuss this with you, but you dont need to go around calling people stupid for such. Peace and love son, peace and love.

It goes without saying with any SSD to disable page files and other write behind crap, this only damages the SSD over time faster than a standard HDD, so lets be clear here SSD over HDD is freakin awesome but you must disable background crap writes to the drive which takes seconds to do no biggy.

Upgrade to windows 10 Pro before the free upgrade goes away, no point in missing out on a free up to date Operating System :)

oh dear god more stupidity !!! And "VERY" Selective reading, Sorry but you give stupid advice be prepared to get called stupid. You are literally recommending under 8GB of RAM for a power PC build.

if you re-read my comment I state quite clearly "for a GOOD build" Feel free to stick your finger in your ear a tralalalal away, it doesn't make you right.

No games open just a few browser tabs, Without arma running, was taken by @CMO Marc Smithwhilst discussing this and he loll'ed and sent me the following photo.

So please explain on a GOOD build why you would ever recommend UNDER 8GB

im sure that all the computer builds you do running MS office and cat videos really dont actually need 8, but this is a gaming machine that he has asked is it "GOOD".

seriously read your advice again 980Ti with <8GB ram ????
