Hi all....

Just a quick point i'd like to make: When being arrested or about to be, please don't think this is the end of the road RP wise. Once arrested you can enjoy some great RP and who knows, do it well enough and be nice and you may get a reduced ticket or let off - you never know, your creativity is the limiting factor here such as:

  • Ask for a phone call (I've seen some great examples of this on this forum)
  • Break down in tears and beg for forgiveness
  • Have a medical episode / mental breakdown
  • Ask for for a coffee and chat to explain your actions

Just a couple of quick examples and yes, you can be offensive but as in IRL you're just going to get processed quicker and out of the way and where's the fun in that?

Yesterday, I was involved in a situation where a chap was killed by his own gang (Whilst I was putting him the police car) - presumably to avoid going to jail / being fined when in actual fact, he could have had some enjoyable RP with us - which is kind of disappointing as I fancied having some fun! On many other occasions I've experienced people prefer to die than be 'taken in' and that's ok...but i'm just asking...

Try and go for the alternative, just once in a while - you might just enjoy it (I know I will) :)

Just to add to this, ultimately the best RP moments I've ever had is when getting arrested, yes there can be bad points, it's happened to all of when we've been arrested and sentenced without a word, but not every arrest is like that. We've had some fantastic cops join recently (I'm looking at you, Reverend & FriendlyFireGuy). RP comes from what you make of it. If you act like a duck, expect to be treated like a dick. I can only recall 1 time I've ever been arrested and been annoyed about it and afterwards an apology was issued over what a shit day Kavala was having.

 
*Shucks* thanks emigrates. But yeah, we're being actively encouraged by the powers at be to RP "everything" so some reciprocation would help the entire process. :)
