Getting better guns

I already know that I can get a handgun but where can I buy something bigger? I mean, if I dont want to get robbed having a pistol and being by myself wont cut it. I cant count the amount of times ive been robbed while doing a diamond run while also having a pistol.

 
The main/simplest method is within the Poseidon lands there is a rebel outpost, here you can purchase larger weapons and more "Rebel" clothing. Remember to purchase your military licence at the outpost though, or they will find you and fine you!

If you want something better than an MX, MXC, MXM (6.5mm) rifle and you want a beast of a gun (7.62mm) I would recommend advanced weapons as they offer better guns however the license is 10 million, it offers more robbing options and being able to look in backpacks. (In my opinion, the MK1 EMR is the best, below is an image)

@George R imo I think that atm the best gun all round is the mxsw taking into account how much it costs and the mag size its the best gun for the money. Ik that it is only a 6.5mm but still drops ppl

100rnd mags spongey af. If you use sw still go for 30rnd cus suppressed and with a few 100 round mags it is same price as mk1

Hmmm ur right but u can backpack the mksw which is really handy idk the mk1 is better but the convinience of a mksw is just better

Tbf I have'nt bought the AK12 much but I should use it more it seems good, I dont see many people with it tho idk if there is a reason for that or not? It seems like the main guns are mksw and mk1

And that's only legal when  you have a firearms license. (I got mine taken when I executed a medics patience for calling me sexy..)

Depends who you go to. A variety of guns are used regularly and Ak12 is quite common, depends what gang you come across though

Then ill have to use pistols for now, i have nowhere near 10 mil for the license or a rifle. But just for curiosity, is it against the server rules if i get my friends to hide and shoot whoever wants to rob me?

You can get some lower rifles from rebel outpost or black market but the license cost for that is 500k

Someone answered and said the license is 10 mil, but if its just 500k its definitely worth it. Do i get both the license and a rifle at the rebel outpost?

so rebel License is 500k with that you can get basic rifles eg. TRG/MX/MXM

if you want better you can get the Advanced Weapons which is 10 Mil which is for better rifles eg. Mk1/MXSW 

Yes you can pick up the rebel license at either Rebel outpost or Blackmarket i believe
