Hey peeps,

Most of you probably don't know me, I played here fairly extensively about 3-4 years ago as both a rebel in a couple of my own gangs and a SGT in the police, in particular RTU - does RTU still exist?

I absolutely loved this server and the fun I had with the people here. I don't think many of them are around anymore though, when I was playing you had to fight for a space on the server!

I left because we had a  little lad, got a new job, bought a house and then my PC completely died and I had other priorities so didn't have plans to replace it. So I haven't played a single game in about 3 years or so.

Fast forward to 2019 - I'm now settled two years in my own house, our little lad has just started primary school and we've another sprog due in early November but I've decided to sink (far too much) money into a completely new setup, which I'm picking up on Monday next week (which I'll share with you in the showcase section at some point).

I've even managed after some fairly extensive negotiation with Valve, to get my Steam account back (forgot password) so I'll be hopefully be hopping on the server at some point next week!

Until then I'll hang out on here.

What DLC do you need for the game now, I think I have everything up to and including Apex? It's been a long time.

Depends a bit on what you wish to use. Like if you buy a van in the car shop (driving bombs really with how fast they explode) you need DLC. Same with certain planes, helis and of course the go-karts. Most stuff (except for tanks) is available to an extent.
So depending on what kind of experience you are looking for you can invest in some DLC. Do be mindful that if you don't have a DLC and buy something that you can't use ingame there won't be a refund as it's considered a player error.

Personally I would invest in atleast a few of the DLC (depending of course on your budget and play style) as you have more features in game then. However I would wait with that investment until you are on the server to see what is available. Some DLC are featured more heavily than others for certain groups.

Yes they do, cant say they are the best drivers though. Perhaps different opinions on this subject from other people in the community ?

I can assure you it existed, we wore little yellow jackets, had special skins on our cars and setup checkpoints with killer cones that could stop a HEMTT on a five pence!

Those cones were the main death causes on the server back then XD
