Gang hostility

So lets talk about gang hostility. As a lone wolf like me I like to hang out with gangs and the people in them at different times. I love hanging out with people and making new friends in those gangs but when I make friends in different gangs and then in another that are at "war" I always get so much shit from the people I love playing with saying "Oh why are you hanging out with them they are just a bunch of RDMers" or some shit like that. What I can't get my mind off of is that people cant me mature enough to enjoy the fucking game. Instead its all about hostility and shit.

I just think that in game if you are enemies there you are enemies there it doesn't mean that you have to be the worst enemies IRL. Most peoples excuse would probably be "Oh well they are putting up reports on me for no reason" Well They probably do have a reason and maybe it was a mistake and they thought it was a rule broken or that you did actually do something and they are reporting you for that. I just think all of this is dumb and what I have to say is. Grow up guys this is an adult community if you can't enjoy the game and make friends without pointing fingers then I say don't play at all. I know I will be getting a lot shit for this post but this is only the truth and I have to get it off my chest.

This is one of the reasons why I might stop playing on this server.

People of the same attitude tend to gravitate towards the same gangs,

As such, gangs clash either from a difference of opinions, in game drama or because certain members of gangs bring a bad reputation to their gang and cause the rest of the server to see that gang in a different light. 

Gang drama is nothing new, but from my experiences the hate outside of game has climbed to a new level of the past 6 months. There's nothing worse than 2 gangs going all out trying to prove who has the biggest balls. It hurts the server and only causes a lack of RP and more people feeling sour at the situation as the length of the dispute grows longer.

Now,

As for affiliating yourself with a gang. If you play with a gang regularly then people will naturally assume you're together. This server has a massive issue where "Drifters" so to speak, (People who are not in a gang) can have a verbal agreement to help a gang during a firefight and this leads to massive confusion in the event of a firefight. 

People will not welcome you with open arms, if they feel like that cannot trust you. If you're jumping gangs on a weekly basis then there's a probably a reason for it and gangs will tend to notice.

Anyway, That's my thoughts on the matter.
