Okay so my asshole of a cat just broke my Corsair H1500 & Hyperx Cloud 2 in the space of a day.

Is there any gaming headsets that do metal cables? or something where demonic little shits can't bite through?

I can't find anything so far.

I'm asuming you don't wanna go wireless since you're asking for metal cables.. But besides wirless, I dont think headphones have a cat proof version. However, I think there may be some methods out there to stop him from nibbling on the cables. I always used simple tape. It makes the cord look ugly and im not sure if its very user friendly, since when I used this method I didn't play games online yet and only used a headphone when mixing music..

There is quite a selection you can acquire of the stuff. If you want help browsing for the best for value I am more happy to help.

Solder the cables - there are carbon fiber sleeves around. Perhaps protect it like that. Would be a waste to throw those headsets away.

I am presuming a kitten, then try wrapping tinfoil around your cables until they are out of the habit of chewing cables?
If not, try lining them with a thin bare cable spiralled around your cable and connect it to a 9V battery, this will not hurt the cat, just make it very unpleasant to chew on the cables (put a 9V battery on your tongue to get an idea of what this feels like, to powerful use a old 9V battery :D ).

Failing all that, there is this  http://www.cableorganizer.com/kevlar/
But you will need to be handy with a soldering Iron to refit the ends on.

Or a cheaper option, but not very nice for wearing your headset due to weight and flexibility

astro a40 has replaceable cables so you can get a metal one per request... and since the cable goes out of a mix amp the cat cant even reach it :D

On a serious note, just get a wireless headset? I am sure I don't need to explain why

I was going to suggest the same, but ........ You need to charge a wireless headset- ergo does not solve the wireless issue. I also hoped that the OP had already considered that move ;)

You do not have much experience of cats I presume ?!?

Good call on the Astro, do you have a link to the replacement metal sleeved cable ?
