Game freezes

For around 2 months since I've had a problem with Arma III where it freezes for around 5-10 seconds every 5-10 minutes, consistently. What have I tried to fix this issue?

  • Bought an SSD and migrated Arma III to it - although my FPS went to a very stable rate, freezes continued to happen
  • Reset and moved my OS to my SSD from my HDD - freezes continue to happen
  • Reinstalled Arma III - freezes continue to happen
Specifications:

  • 270GB SSD (Arma III + SSD)
  • 1TB HDD (Random stuff, very little usage on it as recently reset and only 1 year old)
  • 4 x 4GB 1600mhz DDR3 RAM
  • GTX 1070
  • i7 4790k
  • SLI Krait Motherboard
What could the issue be? Could it be some Arma III setting? Drivers? Fans? This issue is very annoying and it seems like I've tried all of the major software fixes I am able to.

Would appreciate any and all help.

 
Maybe try messing around with the settings in game sounds stupid but could help. Does it happen with any other games by any chance. taking a look at the drivers would be a shout aswell maybe your graphics card drivers

This is the only game this occurs in - I don't think it's the graphics drivers as they were updated 2 days ago (When I reinstalled the OS)

 
Might sound daft haven't heard of a issue like this and all the steps you have taken dunno if its monitor issue maybe the monitor freezes and not the computer ? seems like im pulling at straws with that one but weird issue.

 
Its the Arma bug i have the same and a lot other people have the same issue. You cant do anything about that. The makers of Arma need to fix this.

But surely if I didn't have it earlier, and then it popped out of nowhere and some other people still don't have the issue, then it can't be an issue with Arma itself? It's been reinstalled etc.
