I think many will have noticed that the fuel delivery job has become an increasingly popular choice among civilians in the city lately and with the greater use of the delivery hub I can't help but think that this job role could be fleshed out in a really fulfilling way which may in-turn negate or remove a lot of the issues involved with the Delivery Hub.
Level increase to carry increasingly dangerous/volatile loads
- I would see this working along the lines of the current mechanic job; whereby you would purchase your dangerous loads licence and would increase your proficiency by completing jobs. Perhaps starting with pharmaceuticals > Fuel > Chemicals from Humane labs. Alternatively just keep fuel job as-is but as you become more proficient you can be given more dangerous jobs where your tanker starts at 10% health for example.
A significantly lighter trailer on the return journey
- Quite logical really , the trailer should weigh much less on the return of fuel delivery. However to counter the obvious speed increase, the trailer would be much easier to tip/lose if driving erratically.
I hope that others can see the potential in fleshing out this growing job role; I will pop back regularly and update this with any new ideas from within the city or from you guys that we agree would be a nice suggestion.
I've kept this short as to not overwhelm anyone however there's so many good ideas floating about that I thought I'd just include the two most prominent, I do not think that the balance of the economy would be effected at this time given the inconsistency of fuel delivery paychecks right now.
Thanks!
