Hello and Good Afternoon Altisians!

Today we're happy to announce a new set of positions within the staff team.

A few weeks ago, We closed the final door on the mentor team.. Since then, various ideas have floated around in attempts to bring back the mentors. Now we're bringing a new team, with better facilities for its members, and hopefully better support for our community.

The Frontline Team (FLT)

The Frontline team is born from the ashes of the previous mentor team and is designed to assist members inside and outside of the game servers.

Tier based support



[SIZE= 12px]The New team will be split into 3 segments to allow 3 things, Management, Training, and Progressions.[/SIZE]

[SIZE= 12px]The 3 tiers are as follows[/SIZE]

  • [SIZE= 12px]Tier 1: Fast Response[/SIZE]
  • [SIZE= 12px]Tier 2: Mentor[/SIZE]
  • [SIZE= 12px]Tier 3: Community Support Moderator (TeamSpeak Moderator)[/SIZE]
[SIZE= 12px]These names are not final, but each serves a particular role, and have varying access levels.[/SIZE]

[SIZE= 12px]New applicants would all be taken at Tier 1, This is where they learn the basics based off the support page created by Wilco, various Questions and Answers, and generally point people in the right direction. They’d also be able to respond in sidechat to questions such as “how to pick apples”. The only difference for them is, trolling (such as saying alt+F4) would be grounds for removal. [/SIZE]

[SIZE= 12px]Tier 2 would deal with the above with the addition of being called in to support players in disputes, they’d also be able to go ingame (potentially with a custom clothing) and show people around the varying areas, such as drugs, legal items, shops, cars, and most importantly “Roleplay”. Whilst on Duty they’d be immune to jail, however have to use strong roleplay in dealing with a situation. (use of uniform/being on duty without being in the correct channel will be grounds for immediate removal).[/SIZE]

[SIZE= 12px]Tier 3, as the name suggests, TeamSpeak moderators. They’ll do all the above with the addition of maintaining, cataloguing, and dealing with Teamspeak issues. More details will come, but they’ll be kicking trolls, and creating/removing gang channels. [/SIZE]

Leadership

The "Current plan" is to have 3 leaders, that's one for each tier, they'd work together for the most part, however the Tier 3 leader would be FLT Support Lead (again, name may change).

So, We're opening applications to both tier 1, and Leadership.

Please note, if your Leadership application fails, you may be considered for another position within the FLT.

Requirements:

You need to be at least 16 years old.
You need to have been a member of the community for at least 6 months.
You'll know the in's and out's of ALUK's Servers.
You'll know how to be patient and respectful.

You'll be representing our staff team, and therefore must maintain a high form of roleplay at all times, along with maturity inside and outside of the gameservers.

Good luck to all applicants. Dont think Ill be involved much in the process of selection however I will be taking a look at the FLT when I get back.
