Free headset upgrade :D

So I'd been having problems with my headset (Sennheiser PC 363D) since I installed the windows anniversary update. Drivers weren't working, no sound coming through the headset. The usual shit that's the last thing you want to experience when you just want to go on to Altis Life. So long story short I was able to get the headset sent off to be fixed (turned out the headset had malfunctioned). Instead of them returning my newly fixed headset, they send me a brand new headset. Not the same headset, a freaking upgrade for no reason! (Sennheiser PC 373D) Not much of an upgrade but still an upgrade non the less  

I can't vouch enough for sennheiser headsets though. So so good! They're quite expensive but they're worth every penny imo! 

Has anyone else had a free upgrade like this before?

I couldn't agree more about sennheiser headsets. Had the PC 350se for 2 years now, I ended up replacing the earpads because they were getting worn out, but apart from that it's still good as new. Personally I prefer 3.5mm jacks over USB just for more flexibility.

I can understand the preference of the 3.5mm jack. The USB is probably the only downside imo to the headset I've got but still amazing. Sennheiser fanboy over here
