Can anyone please explain to me how is this world persistent in any way?
How does it all work?
I'll explain what i am all about.
This is like the n-th time this is happening. I drive to gather peaches, i get a whole inventory of them, lets say 64, during that i earn some paychecks and shit. All fine. I sync data almost every time anything changes in my inventory.
Then, the server restart comes. Oh god how i hate it now.
After coming back in, my peaches are gone, everything is gone... I am left with a pickaxe only. And the cash i had, is now a totally different number every time.
Can for the love of god someone explain this whole system to me in detail? In a way that im out of questions and everything is clear? Because i think i am not understanding this whole 'persistance'.
When i get to have a house, same will happen? everything from the house will dissapear?
Bonus question, while im at it... When you buy a car, and you accidentaly drop your keys, instead of giving them. Are they gone forever? the car is dommed? Or is there a way to get keys back?
Thanks in advance,
Helban
