Folders in a impossible situation

So tonight I accidentally made it so that folders like Downloads, Documents, Pictures and Music all have the same files. So If I download anything or record anything they all go into the same place so its like one file times 3 which might start eating memory. When I try to redirect it to a place it tells me 'Access Denied', I've looked online but nothing is helping and I'm sort of wanting to reset the PC as its only a few days old with not much to loose.

I believe the issue lies in the root file perms,im sure you tried the properties tab and enabling admin box,and i cant exactly remember how to get into Root Perms for Folders,ill look into it if i can remember anything ill post it.Hopefully someone more experianced shows up by then lol

Very interesting, if you right-click on downloads goto properties, and then 'Location' tab, click 'Find Target', then navigate to the downlaods folder, it's usually something like c:\users\<username>\downloads rinse repeat for the rest.

Found the problem, sorry for late reply just turned 18 today and been with family but I looked online for a few hours and someone got it right and now it's all back to normal. Thanks for trying to help!
