I can only see in 800 x 600, and it's using basic display, I'm thinking about uninstalling the driver and reinstalling but don't want to mess up the PC.

Error 43 is a drive issue, use DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) with the "Clean and Restart" option -> Completely uninstall Nvidia Geforce and then re-install it, re-download the drivers through that and re-install it again, should fix the issue

is the card properly seated and any additional power cables connected? Can it be tried in another computer to confirm it's working and the card isn't faulty?

Its getting sent back and swapped with a 1060. its okay now
