I recently was declined from joining the Los Santos Police for being under 18. I asked how-come the age limit is aged 18, and I had the response that it was due to the PEGI rating of Grand Theft Auto being 18. Is this still a matter of safe-guarding, one of the original reasons the age limit was imposed on Arma. I am assuming because ArmA is rated PEGI 16 that is where the number came from.
I'd like to know management's thought process on the matter. Is it to stay on the super-safe side of legal challenges or is this purely an ethical decision?
As I see no reason against it considering RPUK are effectively offering external software and server access. Theoretically myself and my parents have already agreed to Rockstar & FiveM terms of service. And the accessible in-game content is fairly similar to Altis. Or am I wrong about this?
I personally see no reason why the difference in age restrictions are in-place, as the threat is still the same level on Altis Factions and GTA Factions, or both.
I'm not trying to start a big debate over this. We've had enough of them, but I'd just like some insight for specifically the GTA server.
