Fake IDs

Not sure if this was suggested in the past? but I think fake ids would bring some more interesting roleplay situations into the server

At the moment if you have a ID no matter what its always going to be your real characters name and you can easily be exposed.
My idea would be a certain gang or may be a few street gangs could print ids for a decently high amounts of money (this would also bring more opportunities to the criminal side of the server and defiantly create some interesting situations) 
if this was ever implemented it would defiantly be overpowered if not implemented correctly (i.e. not everyone should know about this)

I tried. Agreed with fake ids tho. Definitely useful. 

Another would be custom ids. Example (for rp purposes) would be business cards Inc phone numbers.

I like the idea but there need to be more balance rather then just 'not may people know about it' there needs to be someway of seeing that the ID card is fake, whether it is a visual cue on the card that shows you its fake, that it is shown as fake for police as they deal with IDs more often or that it doesn't relate to a real character in the city.

I think an appropriate way to spot out the fake ID would be to have a mismatched / invalid citizen ID, would mean it isn't immediately visible but wouldn't hold up to investigation.

Totally agree, some sort of way to identify its a fake id would be great but it should defiantly be something suttle

Although I do like this suggestion, I feel as if some things need to be considered. Quite obviously, Real ID’s vs Fake ID’s are noticeable one way or another, whether it be subtle or obvious. If these Fake ID’s have the exact same mod (without any subtle changes) it will be used way too often and would be a huge struggle for police side of things to figure out if it is real or fake.

A fix to this would be to add several changes that are randomised through every ID (but not every time you show it). With this, it would lessen the chances of officers just looking at the same difference over and over again. Just to add on I feel like there should be a possibility of having an identical ID just to add to the fun of everything! 
 

This is my opinion on the suggestion, if you want to add or challenge, I am all ears!
