Anybody here playing factorio ?

@DainMKfyi found out how to configure it as pvp with seperate reseach queues and hostility to other players with turrets, so we can have two teams or more, might be best to wait for the new patch though as they have improved/fixed quite alot, also cant believe you built the station vertically (its quiteinefficient) !! but that will also be fixed in the next release.

Make sure to edit your keyboard layout so that you can enable the chat function. - Tend to make a backup at least once a day.

Nope nope nope! I spent some time in my youth experimenting with cocaine, and let me tell you, that was nothing compared to the almighty addiction that is Factorio.

Never again. I played it, got hooked, but after a while finally managed to catch the dragon launch the rocket. That was me out the game for good. That night @birchieboyconvinced me to 'just check out my map' and it ended up me staying for more hours than I care to admit.

So thank you very much, but no thank you, I cant afford to lose my job to this crippling addiction!

Yay just waiting for new DNS records to update (hopefully with automatic port forwarding) so not giving out any details that may potentially get me in trouble :)

 
Would be awesome to have a massive game set up where we play untill a team fires the rocket.

Or have a game where you would have to automate every single item in the game and then the team would win.

 
Been looking into the configuration of the servers, I can set up PVP teams with seperate research trees and automated defence hostility. So proper PVP.

I think the hardest would be to have the resources set to scarce and the Alien hostility leaft at normal, that way you have to really be careful how to build your base and venture out to collect more supplies.

Will check the DNS settings when I get home and pending it working well will post the address :) 
currently for this one it will be a collabrative affair. Map settings are all on "Normal". will look into other game modes furthwer down the line. depends mainly on performance I would say.
