Extreme Lag

Guys I have a pretty high end PC, 4770k at 3.5ghz and a gtx 980 and 8GB DDR3 ram at 2500mhz. Despite this when I join the server I get lag, I run the game on high-ultra settings normally and do fine. However I have started getting massive lag, other games run fine. Also my download speed is over 100mbps and around 10 mbps upload!

What is the problem?

Try turning your filters off/lower (v sync/aniso) 

change view distance to 3km and object drawing distance to 1.5km and then play around with it from there

ensure your graphics drivers are up to date

in your graphics settings (NVIDIA control panel (idk the name)) try changing the settings (google something appropriate, if you can't find anything I will google when I get to my PC and/or gyazo my current settings)

Turn bloom and blur off

with your spec you shouldnt need to turn anything off, i just click ultra and play away. Just to be sure - hdmi cable is pugged into the graphics card, not the motherboard?

when does the lag start? as soon as you login or what?
