Excavating Shipwrecks

Anyone know if you can excavate from Shipwrecks at the moment?

I tried it a while ago and the government weren’t allowing it.

Well I tried it last evening amen still made no difference. 

Just says I’m too far away from a ship...even though I’m sat on the flopping wreck!

Shipwreck salvaging works only on the shipwreck that gets randomly spawn as an ingame event like Gallery or SAF drop.

You need to have an excavator and then click use in your inventory.

Yep, cheers guys. It was the old shipwrecks I was trying on. On other servers, these work and you can keep going back to them...

Not so here. I did catch one this morning. About 80k.... Not worth it really given the time it took.

Guess the HM Treasury boats are worth it as they contain $1m
