Everyone sounds far away

I'm not entirely sure what I've done, but for a couple of days I've been having trouble hearing people. I've turned up the volume on my headset (before anyone starts with that), the only issue is that then I get TS blasted through my ears. Is there a setting in the config files where I can boost how loud people are ingame? Also my headset is a Logitech G430. 

If you need anymore info I'm happy to provide it.

I have it enabled. 

I got the same headset Logitech G430(love that blueish color). I wonder what went wrong by you. Whenever I start ArmA to play, I enable the dolby surround sound( logitech gaming software program - menu), because without its hard to hear people. I'm sure you got your VON volume to max(main menu>configure>audio).

I haven't installed any new firmware lately for the G430 & it still works as it should. So you're saying, that you experience this for few days already. I wonder what happened lately in those days. I hope you find out, sorry that I can't help you with some hints. And hopefully your headset is still OK(hardware in it).

The only thing I can think of that has changed is my new PC, but I've had that for a couple weeks now and no issues until now. I've had the headset for about 3 months, so it should be fine. I might grab my old one and see if that makes a difference.

Do you have the same issue with the old headset ?

Also try disabling the 7.1 surround as a test with the G430

Disabling worked, I can suddenly hear! Thanks very much good sirs!
