Well you know how it is. Food prices are skyrockteting these days and the kids want to eat. Therefore, we decided not to be like everyone else and go on a drug run, but to take people hostage and make their friends, family or the cops, pay us for their safe return. Appears a lot of people need to learn some decent roleplaying, 50.000 pounds is not a lot of money to say: ''Just kill me'' so not to pay it.

Credits to Charles Manson for being the coolest hostage ever. And shame on the Altis Police force for not even caring about his life!

Sorry to break your bubble but last time i heard, cop kidnapping was forbidden from the server until further notice, but i will let any high officers correct me on that if needed.

But i do support roleplay, in any kind.

 As far as I know, cop hostage is still a no go.

From 21:30 this evening taking anyone from the police is a bannable offensive until further notice.

There will be new rules around this within the next week once they have been created and discussed fully but at the moment to many cops are getting taken hostage and the roleplay factor is fading away.

In the meantime any officer under threat of being taken hostage have been advised to log out and respawn.

Where does he even mention taking cops hostage? If you even watch the video (or even scan it as I did) before commenting you'd realise not a single cop was taken hostage, or even seen I don't think.

To the video. Funny as hell, "How I am supposed to enjoy the beach without a bloody towel?!" - a quote I may steal if the opportunity arises. xD

 
To be fair, i didn't see the video because i'm working and sometimes have loads of people around me but, he did say in post (which was edited by now) saying cops didn't reply to the kidnapping request, so i guess i jumped to conclusions.

Very enthusiastic i must say, but id check the currant rules before accusing the altis pd of not rp'ing and not caring. Just a tip

 
I am sorry, I couldnt find any rules about cop behaviour in hostage situations =P And its not accusing against the cops, it was just meant to be a joke =P. The bad roleplay was directed at the hostage who didnt value his own life and just said: kill me =P.. Joe, if you could link me to the rules about co behaviour in hostage situations, i would be interested. Maybe next time we can actually get a ransom, though I think cops wont pay that for someone who was just busted from jail :D

 
Hmm, It seems my editing wasnt so good. Sound is missing in the most parts of the recording. I will try and fix this and reupload soon.. Was my first try at editing multiple recordings into one vid so please forgive me =D

Civilian hostages are ignored because there is no way of telling if the hostage is the hostage takers' friend simply trying to get money which became an annoyance in the past so all civilian hostages are ignored. If you want to take a civilian hostage you will have to blackmail their friends for a ransom,which quite frankly is unlikely. That is why without watching the video people would assume a cop was taken hostage.

 
Thanks =) We won't try and get the cops involved then. I seriously hope taking cops hostage will be allowed again, I started playing after it became against server rules =(. But we will keep trying to take players hostage and one day we will find someone who has friends or family that actually care =D Its just roleplay so we won't ask for loads of money =D
