So basically i want to start editing skins on vehicles and other cool stuff. Does anyone know any good programs for this?

I've seen people edit stuff using Photoshop, I think thats what Xsum uses as well but don't quote me on that.

Allright, what about tutorials anyone have a good tutorial?  xD

If you want to start texturing, then you're best bet is to use google and find some tutorials. There are a few good ones out there on the BI forums. You'll also need to download Arma Tools from steam: it's free, though, so don't panic. Without it, you'll have a hard time converting files into the right format.

To actually do the editing, I use photoshop, but there are many programs out there that will do the job. Photoshop is simply what I'm familiar with. I also know that I can convert the files properly, so that's a bonus.

Photoshop is the best program to use by far. If Arma 3 allows it (Not sure if it does, but previous games ive done texturing on its worked) I think you can export the default mapping to a program like 3DsMax , and texture the thing in a 3D form which is 10x eaiser when you get the hang of it.
