The Economy is now linked to the donation goal

While we progress with our new framework ( which is coming along very nicely! ) we have some exciting news to bring everyone.

That's right! 

If the donation goal is met then from the 1st of the following month the goal is met for a huge 10 days everyone on the server enjoys a cheaper economy with weapons and vehicles 50% off for all!

This will hopefully encourage support for our servers keeping them funded and online with a happy 10 days for every single player!

This starts now so if our goal is met this month from the 1st of August for 10 days it will start!

So everyone can contribute to the goal we now accept any amount donations however any donations under £10 will not receive any forum or teamspeak perks as outlined on our donation information page

To make it completely clear, Altis Life UK will not go offline if we don't meet our goal, This is a fun monthly event to keep our servers community funded.

Actually this is a really good idea, I do quite like this. Fun for all... I think.

You know i care too much about this place and wouldn't risk it if it wasn't!, Everything here is done by the book.

I took the time to contact BIS beforehand and because every single player pays the same in-game price regardless if they have donated or not then its completely fine... a cheeky bypass maybe but hopefully people will contribute to the goal keeping our servers community funded and in a month or so when we have our framework out maybe we can offer a few cosmetic perks ( If we get approval from BIS on the framework and approved into the Server Monetization approved list)

In the meantime Enjoy!

Good to hear, I've got no issues with donations, etc, I'll always donate to this server even if I play on it or not, just don't want it to be shut down for any reason. I've noticed how significantly the donations have dropped since the changes, so hopefully this will pick things up. I know from experience that using space in any datacenter isn't cheap.

I'm gonna be honest with something cheeky

3 of the times I've donated (2 of them which were before the new system) I donated for the forum perks

Well and ofcourse to support the community

because #Forumwhore

This idea is absolutely brilliant, I like that everyone can benefit from this and it is a great thing for the community.

May I make the suggestion of this:

The current goals are £500 per month, which is a good goal, but would it be worth having a secondary goal of £750 and if this goal is also reached in the month then add an extra 10% discount or even 25% discount (might be too much) It popped in to my head and I thought it could help.

 
I love the fact that we can get cheap guns.  My worry though is that cheap guns to the wrong "People" could be bad for Altis.  Reduce RP maybe?  Have hobos running around with fully automatic rifles with silencers. :(

Just my opinion though

 
Maybe just give discounts to the weapons themselves but keep attachments the same price.

We have a solution for this, unfortunately it's not coming now, maybe in the following month or two.
