"Drug trafficking"

I was playing on the server a few days ago while I was doing a stop at the weed/black market island. I picked some weed then dropped it when I noticed a helicopter hovering. My past experiences with other people in helicopters is quite bad so I decided to get out of there.

While taking off a cop sent me a text telling me to land at the airfield and so I did. There they asked me what I was doing and I told them that I was bird watching, Something that I had told police before. 

Now here comes the shady part. The police accused me and told me that they saw me throwing out bags out of my helicopter (Bullshit since I didn't have any illegal items in it or on me while in it). They searched me and the helicopter and didn't find anything else. Just as they were going to let me go they told me I was wanted for drug trafficking and fined me 100k. 

My question here is that did they execute this correctly? Sending a private text then giving someone a fine for 100k while having no illegal stuff. Did I somehow have a drug trafficking wanted thing on me (that no other cop had ever commented on) and if so how on earth did I get one. I have never been caught traveling with drugs or selling them. 

I would very much like some answers if they were acting correctly or just made this up. Not trying to accuse the police here, however to me and my friend this seemed very shady. We have always played together and done drugs at the same time. He was talking to cops at the same time as I and he was not wanted. (Which is strange because if they saw me then they would've seen him too.)

 
If they witnessed you picking up drugs at a field, if you had any drugs on you or your vehicle of if you've sold drugs on that day then you could potentially be wanted for drug trafficking.

However they should've asked me about it so that I could explain that I was looking for birdnests right? They were hovering maybe 300 meters up, It's quite hard to see details from that far up

It's one of those subjects I guess. You happen to be in the middle of a drug field, picking things up, police saw you, then role played they seen you dump items out of the chopper. That's pretty good RP if you ask me, considering when they get you to land your chopper and person is empty. That's enough evidence to give someone a ticket, I personally feel.

Did you inside of RP tell them your name? As the wanted list shows if you have sold to a dealer that a cop has interrogated.

Yeap I did give them my name, and I was unaware that you can interrogate drug dealers to get names. Cops was acting just fine then.

 
If a policeman scrolls over a dealer it will show anyone who has sold to him recently, out of curiosity Ciaran, what does "recently" mean? That particular server run time, who's sold to him in the last five, ten, fifteen minutes or?

 
if they were in the hellcat they would have been able to see the color of your eyes from 500 metres
