So let me get this straight, they asked you to stop, punched you for failing to do so, they ask you to put your hands up, you don't, they begin to leave and you shoot them without saying a word?

Well people obviously think I broke rules here. In my opinion I did not. They assaulted me, threatened to take me hostage, clearly heared when he says "You're coming with us" 

He knocked me out without initiating, which is a hostile act, resulting in me being able to retaliate? If I am wrong I will happily comp the people involved, but in my eyes I did what anyone would do and is able to do?

So surely I do not have to "say a word" when they did a hostile act on me first.

as far as I know "knocking someone out" counts as initiate so why people so sure its rule breaking?

Edit: and if someone wonder after this that why he killed the driver, he got himself to situation when he did take his friend to his car.

Jebus, this is getting silly "initiate this, initiate that", what are you, the scottish army? fml sort it out.

Do we actually have to stand there and say;

"I'm going to hit you now"

*knockout*

"I'm now going to take your dosh..... that's money....."

*robs*

"I'm now going to aim my weapon at you and pull the trigger, please stand still"

*kills*

The only people on this server that should ever use the word "initiate" are the police..... or maybe UNMC if/when they return.

Yeah, you need to make a threat, or whatever, but there's a difference to being knocked out with zero RP, and being told to stop running and then being knocked out.

On my opinion this migh be confusing situation, so basically I can go walk on streets ill find someone who to rob for example and ill go there hey buddy dont move, he start moving after that ill ask another time please stay there he keeps walking and asks why, I will knock him out and while he is down ill say okay now because you didnt follow my demands im gonna clear your pockets and after that ill restrain you and you will be mine?

Or would it work better if I come and ill say hello buddy im here to rob you today and I will knock you down with my pistol and i will take money out of your pockets and then I will take you as my hostage?

After they knocked you out, they are a threat to you, and they initiated with knocking you out. (correct me if im wrong, but if you get knocked out, isnt that initiation? Towards the person being knocked out. If he have friends around that want to shoot, another initiation must be done?)

So what is wrong here ?? Im confused

I agree, As far as I know knocking out is initiation, I can understand if his friend fired etc. as there was no warning that someone else would fire, but he had just been knocked out and robbed, that, according to mentors that have spoken to people before (not naming any names) has been classed as initiation.

The problem here is that there was not really any direct threat to his life. There was a threat however that threat was leaving the situation and to kill them as they're driving off without making it known that he is going to shoot/have intentions to harm them.

Does this look like high quality roleplay? They threatened him but not directly. Yea they knocked him out but if someone knocks me out I won't stand up and shoot them straight up just because it's 'initation'. 

Whats shown in that video happens a lot on the island and it shouldn't; not just the shooting but the pointless act of knocking him down.
