So,after 2 years of having my Fx-6300 and changing my mobo for a bit better one,I've decided to at last do the 1 GHz OC on my Fx 6300.Obviously it's inferior to all yer fancy I5 and I7s that cost a liver, but my 1 GHz Oc gives me about as much performance as a stock I5 2500k does in single thread according to CPU-Z.

Have a blyatiful screenie in which you cna see how an amazing chip i got.

As you can clearly see,not all AMD chips are equivalent to having a heated pan in the PC case )))

Too bad it's years old technology, bugger off with them silly spam posts for the 1k mark plz
Well actually this post was in regards to the new CPU's they are bringing out with the Ryzen series but okay Dzul!

I still have a 6300. had it for years and it hasnt failed me up until now. when i've got back into arma.

Im building a new system soon though. i7 6700K, gtx 1080 and a dedicated M.2 drive for arma.. cant wait.

Considering my posts neither fall under spam posting nor shit posting.
Im not turning dis into drama, yes Zen is lookin very good but so far AMD hasn't made an advancement in years,if you exclude the Rx 480 which wasn't such a great success, despite being a great GPU(I am all for AMD,just being realistic)

Have to agree though, although not as efficient as Intel, AMD imo still make a solid CPU that you get more power for your money.

If you got cash to spare, fine go for Intel, but if your on a budget, your better spending money elsewhere imo.

If you dont have money then you dont buy i7-6700k but just i5-6700k. I had AMD FX 6380 six core at 4.2 GHz and i couldnt play Arma with it. I had 10-20 FPS.

@SEN Koni I just orded the i7 7700k with 16gb ram air cooler asus 270p motherboard, but keep in mind if you are going to buy the i7 7700k you need windows 10. you can still get it for free tho

And the skylake i7 6700k or 6600k you got 12 month or something to upgrade to windows 10 later end of the year it also need windows 10 i read some where but im not sure.
