It is set to auto record whenever in game so does that mean I can just join Arma and not faff around with recording software & it shall auto record?

 
Yes, when you start up the game it will automatically start recording, and when you exit off the game it will stop the recording.

 
Be prepared storage wise though, it uses a shit ton of it. I personally bookmark anything I will need later, clip it and save it then delete the main recording.

Arma wont load when plays is open and it crashes as well as the game crashes when i open plays and arma is open.

Mine used to give me a memory error whilst loading up Arma if I had plays TV open but that was when I played in 3 monitor mode, since switching and re downloading the latest plays tv its works fine. All I can suggest here is trial and error.

My computer has very low laptop specs & the only reason arma can run is due to the CPU being not super trash. Ik it wont be a memory error as it has pleabty of that. I feel it is purely because my laptop is under specced

What is the exact error message when Arma crashes ? Provide a photo if possible.

It doesn’t crash as such because I have to close it in task manager from another virtual desktop. It doesn’t respond & refuses to respond ever again until re opened.
