Why? I know about people who recently passed away due to cancer, and I know people who have been cured for cancer the summer last year. Cancer is not something people expect, and it hits the most fantastic persons. All I know, the person survived due to the money that have been donated for sience and research to get rid of cancer. Being lucky still having that person with us today, most people lose their family member or friend. I believe the more we donate towards these associations, the further we get in the progress of finding ways to get rid of cancer.
(Chose the norwegian one as both of us are from Norway)
I do the same, I personally donate to lots of charities, specifically suicide charities as it has effected people around me. But at the end of the day you pick what you feel most strongly about.
