Do rebel weapons require you to be a certain level?

I'm wondering if you need to be a high level to buy rebel gear once you finally get the rebel license.

You do, but even if you get enough money to acquire the license, you're probably pretty high level

Yeah but surely if you are buying a rebel license you are likely to carry out illegal activity, such as drug runs, that would then make you lose exp, so you can no longer buy illegal weapons without grinding out some legal runs

You need a very high level. You need about 50 for a decent gun

and you need about lvl 60 for a Carryall backpack.

i really think they should lower the levels or get a XP buff since it really go's so insanely slow and the minus XP for doing illigal things
Hope they chance most of those things cant see anyone liking to farm for 100 hours for 1 level, this afternoon we were running like crazy with rented box trucks
making only 1% xp per item its ridiculous.
