So, lately i've seen alot of reports that people were getting RDM'ed but seen proof they have initiated, i thought maybe they have changed the range on direct chat? 

Me, @Kadenand @DI Tampaxdecided to test this the other day. 

In our results we found out that the voice chat gets cut off at about 45 Meters. This is a big decrease of the 75 meters it used to be. 

So, in the future, make sure the guys on the other end heard your Rp, a safe measure to make sure they heard your voice is for them to respond. If they havent responded and continued to do the same thing without hesitation, go closer and say it again, its better to be safe, than to be banned!

yeah, this is causing a few problems on server I noticed. Thanks for clarification on the new range.

Hoping that @Wilco is still in contact with BI devs to ask them to change this, but haven't heard anything off wilco.

 
• I like the plugins of "Task Force Radio" as you can set in game to different presets but this is through teamspeak not in game come on BI

That would then turn the server into a modded server though, its a decent plugin, but the whole point in this is server is anyone can just join and play!

You'd NEED that to play if I'm not mistaken? Then the server won't be available to anyone and Wilco doesn't want that.

@Farmer Giles After the new update you can still hear from 75M bot its tooooooooooooo quiet.The best range for people hearing is 35M.35 is the cleanest and the best quality of the voice.
