Dark Web App

Brief Summary: An app that would allow us to connect to an in game "Dark Web" to allows people to offer illegal services and products.

Detailed Suggestion: As we know the only way we can communicate with every player at once is twitter and ive noticed alot of the time people are advertising the sales of guns and drugs now as we know you wouldnt exactly do that on the real twitter but you would find it on the real dark web. So i was thinking maybe the devs could create a new app that connects to an in game dark web and when you connect it hides the players IP and all player information to protect that player from police (but police could still do a sting operation so its not completely in favor of the player) I just feel that if we can get all the illegal advertising off twitter onto a platform that more suits it would have a deep RP experience. Players can advertise the sale of drugs and services like hitman etc.

The Pros:

proper place to advertise illegal services and products

feels more realistic

twitter is clean from all of this

The Cons:

police could abuse it if not used properly

Does this suggestion change balance on the server ?

no

was already in the server and didn't work well

if it got a reworked and implemented again I would love to see it be a LostMC ran community again with Lost being the gateway

i wasnt here to see that but i must ask why it would be Lost ran? rather than just be like twitter but purely for illegal activity

this is already in,

when it first came in it was called the Dark web and you needed a sim card from the lost to use it worked reasonably well

it was then reworked into reddit and didnt need a simcard and anyone can use it you just need to set up a channel to use, if not a little weird at first once you know whats what its simple to use, this is still in the game and is now called group message or something along them lines

ah i didnt know that to be fair, but even still that group message is a pain the ass i quite like the ideas that you mentioned about the sim card but even if it was setup like twitter it would make it more user friendly i think

yeah the darkweb was almost identical (though im sure in the background its different) to what group messages is like now

Once again, a good idea, but haven't seen an accepted/rejected suggestion in weeks now, so I don't even know if there's any point in putting suggestions up right now when nothing gets done about them.

There's 3 pages of suggestions waiting to be implemented in some way or form. There is also 8 pages of suggestions that have been implemented.

I'm sure devs would probably want to concentrate on what was accepted on months ago then start brining in further ideas straight away.

Back to the idea - what was the reason the Dark Web was removed? Lack of interest? bugs?

It wasnt its just changed to reddit/group threads and doesnt require a sim card for access to it
