CSO Tazer

Would it be possible for csos to carry a one shot taser with say a 20-30m range so that if they get close to criminals they can catch them.

No, your only CSO for 12 or so hours. no need to work on a new item for 12 hours. Just hold on untill you get PCSO. And as a CSO your job is to observe, not so much be a gunman.

I wouldn't say having a 1 in the chamber style taser you could call yourself a gunman but it would make the rank more interesting but i can see what you are saying where you are not a cso for long

The answer's a pretty simple no, as Oskar said, the CSO Rank is to observe, not be a police officer, juuust yet. and if if there's wasn't so much rebel activity, PCSO's would probably also maximum carry a tazer.

But there is.

I suggest giving us CSOs an M2a1 Slammer tank each, that way we can be safe, and still observe!

You both make valid points but both PCSO's and CSO's find themselves in gunfights and bank ops etc. They shouldn't do more than observe but carrying a tazer would make a lot of sense, that way if they do come into trouble or a rebel is about to fire a shot at them they can have a fighting chance.

It's not going to happen, but I do believe that CSO's should have tazers with a lot of restrictions.

CSO's aren't police officers yet they are civilians training to be police officers so if they kill someone it would be classed as murder, the only time they can have a gun is if their supervising officer is killed they can pick up his/her gun to defend themselves.

PCSO's are also civilians training to become officers but they carry a big fuck off weapon ;)

At the moment CSOs can pick up weapons to "value their own life".

but at the moment they just have to case after people and falcon punch them. So giving them a tazer or an other officer giving them one would be nice.

You're a CSO... A Community Support Officer...
Besides, giving a CSO a gun is bad, it's about the same as giving one to a Kavala Hobo, but a CSO has the powers to send you to prison.

If you get threathened, just do as they say, no need to go full rambo on them, is there?

CSO - Community Support Officer.
They really don't need one and like many other officers have pointed out, their job is to observe.

PCSO - Police Community Support Officer
They do have the firearms as they are now apart of the Police force and can begin to assist higher officers in order to be trained to become a PC - Police Constable in which they're given the ability to use Lethal rounds.

Giving a CSO a tazer would mess things up in my opinion and perhaps... "unbalance" it?????
Maybe if there was a rank in between CSO and PCSO yes, but otherwise it's really not that needed, especially since you're not a CSO for a long time anyways? :)  Just my little input, probably not needed but there you go

Earlier a bank job happened, I saw a CSO with a MK20..
Perhaps he picked it up to stop rebels picking it up. SO FAST TO JUDGE!!!!!!!11111111
(would much prefer to see a cso with a mk20 than a rebel?)

Why quote me saying 'so fast to judge' as though you were there? How do you know I just judged? I actually spoke to the guy in the police station and his answer was 'Yeah, I got given it on a bank op'.. so don't call me 'too fast to judge'..
