Creating my own map layout ?

So recently I have seen a lot of people creating their own map layouts using sandbox (I think) I was wondering how I would get the red circles, squares etc and how I would change the colour! Thank you -Jack Shepherd!

I showed how to do this on my stream the other day, however its hard to explain when i havent got arma open but can show u in a little while.

This looks sort of like the right lines! Thank you I want to use the altis map just to place markers such as the drug dealer etc!
