Hello there,
First off I would like to introduce myself, I am Tim Baker and I am a Police Constable from Altis Police Force on the server.
On 22th of August I got banned because I made a really stupid mistake what I shouldn't have done. And I totally got the reason why I got banned. I made an unban appeal and put a lot of effort to not get banned in the future anymore by reading the rules very well. (unban appeal here:
The night I got banned I asked someone on TeamSpeak (a police member) how long it was going to take before the admins normally reply to the unban appeal. He said about 1 or 2 weeks, but it could also take a lot longer, depending on how busy it was for the admins. I got the fact that unban appeals are low priority for the admins, and I accepted that.
My laptop was in bad shape, someone accidentally threw a glass of water over it while I was on holiday. So I thought: Okay, I can't play on RPUK for 1 or 2 weeks, so I can maybe send my laptop to the repair service now. I sent my laptop to the repair service and then went a weekend away with some friends, not thinking about checking the forums because I thought it was going to take longer than 1 week.(If needed I can provide a document what confirms that my laptop was sent to Acer repair services) After 1 week I looked on the forums, and I found out my unban appeal was already denied for 4 days because of a time out. I saw that the reply of an admin was already there. But I was too late. I wanted to reply to the post but I couldn't anymore, also I was on my phone and it didn't work well. Today I could get a laptop temporarily from my school so now I could write this message.
It is sad that I was too late and the apply was for nothing, but the thing I am the most sad about is that I have to wait for 6 months now to reapply.
I really like playing on the RPUK servers and really want to come back as soon as possible.
I hope that the admins get that I was not able to reply to the post that fast because of the circumstances and I hope I could get a retry on my unban appeal.
