Right guys so.

I was ran at in Kavala by a guy with his gun drawn. Shooting in my direction.
Because I didn't want to die due to y'know shots being fired in my direction I drew my rook and shot at him

Was I unreasonable for not wanting to be RDM'd by another player
Or was I unreasonable.

I would of attempted to take cover, but given the circumstances I would of shot at him, missed and died myself.

 
This is a difficult situation, however it varies with that weapon they are shooting at you with, if a pistol, then you can run in zig zags to cover, then shout at him, and communicate. However if it is a automatic firing weapon, then I don't know. But in the words of a great man, "RP everything."

But if you do end up shooting him in self defense, go to the police, we tend to understand.

(Thank god I don't really experience that issue due to our trusty rubber bullet gun! :D )

 
well the law for selfdefence is as follows, If you feel your life or the life of a loved one is in immediate danger you can resort to lethal action, You would then have to be able to prove in the courts that your feelings were justified, and that lethal action was the only way out.

You also got the good samaritan act that states if you see or hear something that leads you to believe a fellow human beings life is in immediate danger your entitled to act.

That being said proving lethal action was the only way out of it is hard, and you better be damn sure.

In the game that translates very well however stay out of greenzones when you do decide to take action.

 
If he was shooting at you or in your direction I don't see why you wouldn't be allowed to shoot him.
