Hello @SneakyManSteve

After consulting with our Arma 3 Development Team I have figured out that the reason why this disappeared as you went to put it it back on is because those berets are exclusive to members who have the Viper License. 

Essentially those without the license cannot wear them and that's why they disappear. I'd love to know how you got it though.... PM me that on the forums if you can otherwise I might have to spend some of my own time coming to find you to figure that out.. 

For the aforementioned reasons this compensation request does not meet our Compensation Request Criteria and as such will be denied today.
