Please provide full detail and evidence: After discussion with the other TCK Generals I have left The Copper Kings, while in the process of leaving I went on the server to go and leave the gang ingame and realised that I might end up causing some issues with me setting up the gang and owning our 85,000,000 gang base. I went to staff support and was informed by Jefke V that the only option was for me to sell the base and disband the gang in order to leave the ingame gang.

This turned out to not be the case and while the rest of the TCK members were AFK so I couldn't ask I had to rely on the information from staff that there was nothing else I could do, as such I ended up selling the gang base and before I was just about to disband our whole gang with over 80 ingame members Salv came back and told me to stop immediately as it turned out I could easily have just been set to level 3 and left the gang that way rather than having to sell the entire gang base and nearly disband the gang.

The building in question was our barracks on the news hill which most people know we have had for a long time and is fully upgraded.

I was advised by some staff I should be able to receive compensation for receiving false information from the staff team that led to this happening.

Edit: Removed the recording of the convo between you and a staff team member, I don't think this is needed.... people are human and may make mistakes, you don't need to record the staff team who give up their time to assist.

I strongly doubt the staff team member would say differently to what they told you if asked by us, not something that their position would be in doubt over.

This is the whole point of the comp request if i had of been given the correct information then i would not be here now asking for comp .

I get that people make mistakes and mistakes should be corrected if you were misinformed and id like to touch on the point of recording staff it was not my intention to go up there and record him , the only reason i recorded it was as i sold the base i got kicked for what i can only presume for obtaining a large amount of money so i recorded it to cover my own back in case this became under question . 

The video link is highly relevant for my comp case as it proves the comp request is valid .

This was certainly an unusual one.

In the interest of transparency, there won't be any action taken against the staff member in any way as it was within a grey area as to how the mechanics of the feature worked and hadn't come up as an issue before. A number of staff were unaware of the workaround to needing to sell the base in order to leave as a level 4 and I'm sure you'll agree the workaround itself was a tad confusing. On top of this, I don't believe he expected you to immediately throw 60 mil away without consulting any other gang leaders (without the existence of this workaround, it would have been your fault John).

Having said that, the workaround does exist and that means that you should be deserving of compensation. Having spoken to John on TS, it's agreed that this money should go straight to [TCK] Salv so that it can be used for the repurchase of the base as it was essentially "gang money" if you will.

For these reasons,

Request accepted for £60,000,000 and awarded to [TCK] Salv as agreed.
