Compensation Request

The date when this happened: 04/11/22

Please provide full detail and evidence: I was at the casino and decided to do some large bets, as I put a £500K bet down after receiving my hand my phone just pops up on the screen. As a result of this I tried to get rid of the phone while doing this it also cancelled my bet from proceeding meaning that it would not let me hit and get more cards while being on 9. I find it frustrating as I had put all my money on the line and to lose it all to something silly like that I feel is unfair. I still don't understand how my phone even popped up onto the screen affecting my betting. I find it frustrating that my phone popping up on screen stops me from being able to win money and put me in a lose - lose situation. If it were a smaller bet I wouldn't be bothered however a 500k bet I felt it was necessary to make this request.

Do you have a slightly longer video, and/or the original clip, without the speed being increased? 

 
Thanks for the clips.

Now, I have reviewed all the clips provided of this incident and have gathered the following:

1. at 00:01 (1 second in)of the original clip you are met with the UI Screen Selection of ‘Stand’, ‘Hit’ or ‘double down’

2. At 00:02 (2 seconds in) of the slowed down version of the original clip, your character is seen doing the animation which occurs when pressing ‘Stand’ (characters waves his hand towards deal).

3. As your character is doing this animation, you are right in saying your phone comes up. I’ve came to the conclusion that this must’ve been a mis-click, as there was no text or phone call, nor even a tweet on your phone as it popped up. 
 

Request conclusion: Sadly, it appears you decided to stand whilst on 9 playing blackjack, and brung your phone out afterwards. You may have pressed the backspace bind to get off your phone, but that is not what cancelled the bet. The bet was ‘cancelled’ when you decided to stand 2 seconds into the original clip, which again, was before your character decided to bring out his phone. 

Due to this, unfortunately I'll be denying your compensation request today. Please don’t let this discourage you from making more requests in the future.
