Compensation for a Tempest Truck (lost when connection timed out)

Quick description of what happened:

I had a connection timeout when I was in my Tempest Truck, I was carrying over 150-160 pieces of Copper Ore and was about to begin refining it when I timed out, when I reconnected I went to go get my truck from the garage but I couldn't find that or my hatchback, they were both missing from my garage and they couldn't be found. Is there any chance I can have this fixed and receive the Tempest Truck back or the £200,000?

Your truck is not lost; I have just checked the database. Go to the garage again and it will be there. The Hatchback is there too - and your SUV.

What happens is this:

Database contains record of your truck, with a flag called 'active' that is set true if the vehicle has been checked out of a garage.

You drive around; you disconnect/die; your truck remains in the gameworld.

You reconnect, go to garage, it searches for your vehicles, suppresses all the ones that are still marked as 'active' because it believes they are still 'out there' in the gameworld. 

You therefore think the truck is gone. In fact, it is probably still lying in a ditch near where you disconnected - assuming it has not been spotted by someone else who has sold the gear on board or taken the truck to the chop-shop and destroyed it for hard cash.

In your case, you're lucky... it obviously got cleaned up by the server restart (which resets all 'active' permanent vehicles back to 'inactive' when the mission first loads), or by a cop who discovered it and impounded it (sending it back to garage and clearing the 'active' flag from the DB).
