Brief Description:
Add Community Service as a punishment option.
Detailed Suggestion:
Bring Community Service to the City, there are numerous ways that this could work but here is my best idea. At the moment there is only jail time and/or fines however I believe Community Service can be introduced in a similar way to how we clean tables in Prison. For Example, you could be given 40 hours Community Service and have to go around the City cleaning Public bins, benches or even Statues and Monuments. For each place you clean, your hours drop until you are complete. This would be a great addition as the majority of fines are done by the 'pay later' scheme which results in a lot of them not getting paid and then the perpetrator is rearrested and sentenced for failure to do so. Community Service could also have similar repercussions for example, not completing your hours within a certain amount of time would mean you would be rearrested for failing to complete etc. The difference between the two is more players are likely to complete Community Service as no one is losing anything from it.
The Pros:
+ New alternative to Prison and fines
+ Realistic (used IRL)
The Cons:
- Dev Time
Does this suggestion change balance on the server ?
No I don't believe so, just another form of punishment.
